A Belated Halloween

Around the end of October, we were able to catch Hogle Zoo's "Boo at the Zoo". It is a fun little halloween event that will get you in the spirit. The new baby elephant was there...he was sure cute! Austin thought the bears were the best part.

We are soooo excited to be here...actually, I think everyone was just hungry. We left shortly after this...

Angels Landing

Here we are at the very top. There were about a million other people crammed onto the top of this little ridge. There were times that you would have to wait for someone to come up before you could make your way down, because the trail or should I say chain, is only made for one person at a time. Awesome hike; highly recommend trying it if you haven't.
Heidi and I scaled this little inlet to take a peak. It would have been a nice little place to eat lunch.
Daniel is nice enough to point out the gravity of the situation. Gravity; get it? ha.
We are peaking our heads over this nice little 1400 foot cliff. It literally is a straight down shot; no nice trees to break your fall if you were to take a little stumble. Yet there were people in their 70's climbing this thing. CRaZy!

Our Weekend Getaway...

Heidi and Daniels lovely boat...
My second time wake-boarding...
Mr. "I love the water" enjoying himself on the beach while Heidi and I do some snorkeling. Sand Hallow is an awesome place, and it makes it even better when your friend works as the park ranger...

This is our first trip on the FrontRunner. Last week I took three days off, and one day decided to ride the commuter train down to The Gateway Mall in SLC. The train is only a year old, and it is super nice inside. Really clean and spacious. Austin's little friend Raquel and her mom Maria came with us. It was a very fun day. Austin and Raquel thought the train was probably the greatest thing ever.

Breakfast in Bed

For awhile, mom was getting a little lazy in the morning. Ok, it's been like this for awhile. I just have a serious problem with my snooze button. Well, the only way we would make it out the door on time would be to multi-task. I'd be in my bathroom getting ready for the day, and Austin would bring his cereal (no milk) and eat it on my bed. That way I could keep a somewhat close eye on the little monster. If you don't watch him while he is eating, Burke tends to eat more of Austin's food than Austin does. Now, Austin isn't in the same category as Uncle Jer, or Cousin Livi, but he has some killer bed-head going on here.

Austin's First "Real" Haircut

I finally decided to spare Austin the embarrassment of another "home" hair-cut job and go to Mastercuts. Cam is actually getting pretty handy at the hair clippers, but cutting around the ears can get a bit tricky. It is kind of hard to make everything even; especially when you have a little monster who is trying to wiggle as much as possible while you are trying to be steady. Turns out, all you have to do is take him to the real hair dresser. Then he's an angel. Sits perfectly still. The little bum.

Busy Season

At the moment, I'm not sure why
I ever decided to be an accountant.
I've been working 15 hours a day
for the past three weeks. Yuck.
I'm ready for it to be over.
