Cereal Anyone?

This little guy started sleeping 6 + hours at night this past week (yah!)

Livi has about the coolest morning hairdo of anyone I know.

Not a lot of cereal eating going on here....
Ty is kind of a bottomless pit these days...
Austin was a pretty good eater this week.  He must be having a growth spurt because that is not like him.
Kirsten brought this floor gym home with her and Aiden tried it out and LOVED it.

Grandma and Ty; so cute!

The week of Thanksgiving we headed up to HP to the Seamons' residence.  On Monday, just the girls headed down to Gardner Village for lunch and shopping.  It was a blast hanging out with everyone and we all found something cute to by there.  Love that place - especially at Christmas.  Tuesday we threw Kim a baby shower (later post) so the guys were in charge of the kids.  Wednesday all the guys did there yearly man-date rabbit hunt.  This year they went up to Bear Lake but weren't very successful.  Thursday, of course, was full of good food and we did hit the 10pm Walt-Mart sale...always eventful and I was able to fight the madness to get the Lego's I wanted.  Kim and Jer were not so lucky however, with their Xbox.  Friday was more shopping and then Firehouse for dinner...I love that place.  I tried their new Pomodoro pasta and it is my new favorite.  So good!  Then Saturday we begrudgingly said good bye to the Carbajal's as they left us for sunny San Diego.  Apparently as soon as they got home the winter clothes came off and shorts and flip flops were on.  Not fair.  Sunday we went to my cousin's mission homecoming and then finally we are back in good ol' Ogden, ut at our house.  It was - and is always - a fun filled week and I already miss everyone.

Blessing Day

Here is Aiden in his blessing outfit (a hand-me-down from big bro) a week before the big day.  I had to try it on him to make sure it still fit because he is kind of old...grandma said she wouldn't be surprised if he was walking by the time we blessed him.  We are such slackers.

He enjoyed this outfit much more than the owl Halloween costume.  Already he is so picky.  Sheesh!

We decided to have Aiden's blessing at our house this time rather than at church because we have a 9 am start time and it was a little too early to ask everyone to travel down here.  It turned out great; Cam did a good job and we were glad to have Cam's grandparents, the Carbajal's, the Roskelley's, and our wonderful "local" families come to celebrate.  I'm so grateful everyday for such loving, supportive families that we can count on and love to hang out with.  Love you all!

What a Hoot...

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the meanest mom award for making my baby son pose in all these awful pictures...but oh it will be so worth it some day when I'm showing my grand kids what a crazy baby their dad was...ha ha. Aiden was an owl for halloween and he didn't mind the costume too much - it was when the hat went on he started freaking out.  We ended up wearing this costume for combined total of one hour and that included a photo session, work party, and Halloween together.  I asked myself if it was really worth the $28 I spent on the costume and after seeing this picture - definitely yes!

A more calm owl

The entire thing.  I know he thoroughly enjoyed himself this year and can't wait for next year's costume.

Cyclops

Austin was a blue cyclops this year and he got mistaken a lot for Sully from Monster's Inc.  Sully had two eyes though.  He was asked at my work party if he picked out his costume or did mom do it and he said "I don't know, it just showed up".  For the record he picked it before it "just showed up".  It was nice and warm for trick or treating and the weather was perfect this year.

My Aidenator

Aiden and Grandma Jan.  He looks so surprised here.  I promise I had make-up on...
Grandma thought it was bordering on neglect to make him sit in a pumpkin...he'll laugh about it someday.

Doesn't he look like he's enjoying himself?

He's getting a pooch!
Ok, I could just kiss those little cheeks FOREVER!  My new favorite picture of him.

Aiden and Naomi - best friends!

Uncle Jer's Bday

Uncle Jer turned the big 2-8 this year!  We celebrated with dinner at Cafe Sabor and haunted mini-golf.  Someday Austin will get to be Uncle Jer's golfing buddy...

Everyone was saying Boo here...can you tell?
Cam had to get a photo op in front of the "greys"....his arch-nemesis...
Jer's other love...the irish
Happy Birthday Jer!!

Grampa Scott

Last week we spent the week up in Hyde Park and had a blast.  Austin and Grandpa were outside doing who knows what all week.  They did some leaf raking, neighbor talking, and just wondering around the yard.  Grandma Jan thinks they get along so well because Austin is about the only person who gives Grandpa his undivided attention...haha.
