Chillin' on a Saturday

Today was spent doing a whole lot of just chillin'.  It was sunny but chilly - maybe 65 degrees.  Austin would play outside all day if we let him and Aiden loves it too.  While Cam was cleaning out the garage I snapped some pics of the dudes stuffed into the Flintstone mobile.  I told Austin he should just give it to Aiden now and only use his bike. He is seriously going to break one of the wheels off one of these days zooming down the driveway and jumping over the gutter but he doesn't care.  I guess these things have always been abused...we used to ride down the street on the top of my little bro.'s.  $50 bucks well spent.

I've also all but given up on real scrap-booking and moved to blog-booking (word?).  It is so much faster and easier...not as cute but a HECK of a lot less expensive.  What to do with the hundred's of dollar's of shiz down in the basement....hmmm.  Anyone want to come over for a scrap day?

Breakfast at Jeremiahs

Here is a picture of our favorite breakfast jaunt, aptly named Jeremiahs.  They have fabulous breakfasts for a really good price.  Austin always thinks we are going to Kim and Jer's though and then we have to break it to him that we aren't leaving Ogden...but he soon forgets when he see's his hot chocolate.

Lazy Morning

Lazy morning in bed...why not take some pictures.  This was the week after spring tax season so I stayed home with the boys.  I was pretty impressed with myself - we only had 1 - yes 1 - pajama day.  The other two days were Logan and errand day.  I didn't take any pics of Logan but it was very um...indulgent.  Whenever the boys and I go up, Grandma Jan & Grandpa Scott pretty much drop everything they are doing and come hang out with us and do whatever we (I) want to do.  It is lovely - and awful at the same time because I rely on someone else to bring me back to earth and tell me that I shouldn't buy that 15th treat for the day.  So here is a list of the things we did all in one day - Temptation Cupcakes (seriously the best I've EVER had), Gossner's for squeaky cheese (Daines Fam Tradition), Alvey's for choc covered cinnamon bears (bc Burke ate my last batch), Fredrico's Pizza (best pizza/salads in town), and finally Charlie's (had to finish off the indulgent day with a dipped cone).  OK, out of all that list, I didn't eat everything...who am I kidding?  This is why the diet started this week.  Anyway enough about me.

Aiden is um, not close to crawling.  He rolls everywhere but when he gets on his tummy, all four limbs immediately go up in the air and flail around like a beached fish.  It's funny.

Easter in HP Part 2

After tasting some of grandma Jan's yummy Easter desserts, it was time for Aiden's dinner...backwards? Well, Aiden did not get to partake of the dessert eating.  Sorry buddy!  G&G Daines have this little Levi chair that hooks onto the edge of the bar.  It is at least 28 years old because it was mine!  It is the funniest thing ever so I had to get some pics of Aiden in it.  Austin had used it too but alas, no photo evidence of that exists.  Sad.

Easter in HP

Easter in Hyde Park is what I know and remember so that is where we will probably be spending it for many many more years.  The day was beautiful so we mostly spent it outside on G&G Seamons' front lawn.  So cute!

Bunny Madness

The Easter bunny made it to our house and brought lots of yumminess with him (dang easter bunny!).  We dyed eggs (which I totally forgot were left in the fridge until a week later when I went to use some eggs...and had two egg hunts.  Austin got a fishing pole, flies, The Muppets movie, a new Jeep (his old one passed away last year), and some more books.  Aiden got a couple soft books, a donut stacker toy, and the best chocolate ever.  Luckily he likes to share.

Book Worm

Aiden has taken a liking to reading...we usually read a Berenstain Bear book once a night with brother before bed and he also loves to play with his soft books.  Soon he'll have to join the book club!
