Easter in HP Part 2

After tasting some of grandma Jan's yummy Easter desserts, it was time for Aiden's dinner...backwards? Well, Aiden did not get to partake of the dessert eating.  Sorry buddy!  G&G Daines have this little Levi chair that hooks onto the edge of the bar.  It is at least 28 years old because it was mine!  It is the funniest thing ever so I had to get some pics of Aiden in it.  Austin had used it too but alas, no photo evidence of that exists.  Sad.

Easter in HP

Easter in Hyde Park is what I know and remember so that is where we will probably be spending it for many many more years.  The day was beautiful so we mostly spent it outside on G&G Seamons' front lawn.  So cute!

Bunny Madness

The Easter bunny made it to our house and brought lots of yumminess with him (dang easter bunny!).  We dyed eggs (which I totally forgot were left in the fridge until a week later when I went to use some eggs...and had two egg hunts.  Austin got a fishing pole, flies, The Muppets movie, a new Jeep (his old one passed away last year), and some more books.  Aiden got a couple soft books, a donut stacker toy, and the best chocolate ever.  Luckily he likes to share. 

Book Worm

 Aiden has taken a liking to reading...we usually read a Berenstain Bear book once a night with brother before bed and he also loves to play with his soft books.  Soon he'll have to join the book club!

 

Bike City

 So Austin has been LOVING the new bike.  He saw all the neighbor kids out riding theirs and he had to try out his.  It took him about half an hour to get the concept of peddling and then another fall or two to get braking and turning but he is on his way to being a pro already.  We've already had several spills but they are well worth the anguish.  Hurray for nice weather!

Oh Laundry!

 So I realized the other day how much more laundry we do just because of one little baby.  We now do around 2 loads a day and on Saturday's sometimes it is four.  Okay, I know that is not as much as some, but that is a lot of folding.  Good thing I like to do laundry or else I'd go crazy.  I'd say it is probably my favorite chore...(the least would be the porcelain thrones from all-boy uses YUCK!)

Too Many Babies

Last night I was laying by Austin in bed and we were just talking and he brought up the pack n' play.  He said we needed it when we stayed over but that we couldn't bring the wooden one (the crib) to grandma's because it was too heavy.  Then he said the funny part:

Austin: I guess we could sell it to London (new cousin) or give it to Tyler (cousin) or I guess we could keep it for our other baby...but we can't because that would mean too many babies.

Me:  {laughing}

Not sure why London had to pay for it and Tyler got it free but apparently we are done procreating all together according to Austin.  He's been talking to dad too much.
