Birthday Boy!!

Here is the only picture I have with Austin's cake fiasco. My cameraman only was doing video at the time apparently. That huge mound of brown stuff is actually a Germain chocolate airplane that Austin sure had fun eating. I can't believe he's already one. Sheesh!

Christmas!!!!!!

The Polar Express

This picture was taken about half an hour after we got on the Polar Express train, otherwise known as the Heber Creeper. It was a good thing it was taken a half an hour later than when we boarded, because this would've been a very ugly picture otherwise. Let's just say no one was in a very good mood at that moment. It's a long story, but to put it short, we were going on this thing with all of Cam's family, and somehow we all got faulty directions to go up Provo Canyon...umm, the train boards in the middle of town, and if the stupid Wendy's hadn't taken so long with our food, this whole thing could possibly have been avoided. Anyway, we get a call as we are about 15 minutes up this dark canyon telling us we better turn around and hurry our butts back down to town, and that the train is leaving in 10 minutes. Well normally we would've said "forget about it", but we had driven 2 hours in the snow to get there and paid $70. Anyway, this story isn't very short...So eventually after a lot of bad words shared between everyone we got down to the train, and Cam, Austin, and I were the very last people to get on the train...and as we are being yelled at to run as fast as we can to get on board, i grab the blankets, food, diaper bag, and Austin....while Cam grabs his coat. Now I'm trying my darndest to run to this train with clogs on in a foot of snow, all the while knowing that I haven't exersized in a year...so of course the sensible thing to do would be to start bawling at a time like this. It definitely draws sympathy...and some weird stares from people. Needless to say, it took us about an hour to calm down after we'd boarded the train...those smiles in the picture are semi-fake. Call me if you want the full story; it's really quite funny.

ZZZZZ

I have no idea why this is underlining, but oh well. I thought this picture was way cute. It was taken before Christmas one night when Austin was supposed to be eating dinner. I turned around and he was completely zonked out.

Outtakes of the Cousins' Photo Shoot...

Christmas Pics of the Cousins!

Ok, I decided that I would keep everyone in suspense by only making a post once a quarter. Ha, just kidding. I've been meaning to update this forever, and well, I'm just a slacker. That's all there is to it. Here are some way cute pics of Austin and his two adorable cousins, Hannah and Olivia. My really good friend Brittany, who is an awesome wedding photographer, took these pictures of the kids. I never have experienced anything like the scene that was this photo shoot. First you have Hannah, who is 4 and the camera loves her. She was ready at any moment to take a great picture. Then there is Livi, who is 18 months, and she didn't want to have anything to do with our photo shoot. Austin, who just turned 1, pretty much followed Livi where ever she went. I think his collared shirt was making him hot and bothered anyway. But even though photographing 3 kids under the age of 4 can be a chore, the pictures turned out amazing. See for yourself.

Carving Pumpkins

Tonight we decided to do some pumpkin art. The new camera had dead batteries, so we had to resort to the old artifacts...basically, sorry for the crappy night picture.
